Il Forno a Legna is a wood-fired pizza operation out of Rahway, New Jersey. The Main Street pizzeria opened in August 2018 and has been voted Best Italian Restaurant in Union County by the Home News Tribune; in 2022 the team put a wood-fired oven on a trailer so the same pizza could be made live at events. Dough is naturally fermented and the pies are built on San Marzano tomatoes and imported Italian cheeses, fired to order in front of guests. They cater weddings, corporate events, private parties, and outdoor celebrations throughout New Jersey.
Minimums vary by event date, location, and menu. Most catered events work best at around 40+ guests, but tell us about your event and we'll confirm what works — smaller groups can often be paired with another truck or a simplified menu.
2–4 weeks ahead is comfortable for most dates. Spring and summer weekends book up fastest — if your date is firm, reach out early and we'll hold the truck while we finalize details.
